Marisa Cohen
Festival Director
Marisa has helped program over 2,000 independent films and managed hundreds of Regional and World Premieres. She has organized over 40 film festivals in 16 cities and 6 countries during her career. During her years overseeing film festivals, Marisa met with some of the entertainment industry’s top emerging and established talent. In addition to her festival work, Marisa has written and directed ten animated episodes of television.

Peter Issac Alexander
Executive Director
Peter Issac Alexander has organized dozens of film festivals around the world and has moderated over a hundred panels on filmmaking and technology related topics. He has been interviewed for his technical expertise by CNET, The Wall Street Journal and more on topics ranging from artificial intelligence and digital cinema to the future of filmmaking. As a writer and director, he has won over 100 film festival awards for his work in animation.

Kenya Juarez
Social Media Manager
Kenya (she/her/ella) is a born-and-raised Oregonian with a deep background in political and nonprofit social media. Passionate about the power of digital storytelling, she’s always got one hand on the pulse of culture and another keeping up with the algorithm. Whether she’s championing women’s sports or explaining TikTok trends to people who definitely didn’t ask, Kenya brings creativity, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart to everything she does—online and off.

Bridget Larrabee
Festival Coordinator
Bridget Larrabee is a visual artist, art director, and set dresser with a passion for storytelling through art. Her filmmaking journey began when she was hired to create intentionally “bad” art for the sketch Good Walls, Bad Art on the Emmy Award-winning series Portlandia.
Not many can say they launched their career by making bad art, but 12 years later, Bridget made her art directing debut with Acidman, an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival. With a love for independent film she is always on the lookout for her next creative project.

Marianne Oyama
Lead Designer
Marianne is an architect turned graphic designer and illustrator, located in Vancouver, BC.

Alexandra Ramos
Festival Logistics Coordinator
Since Alexandra’s high school days, she’s had a love for indie film. She’s proud that she can put her passion to work and support and uplift indie filmmaking at festivals here in Oregon. She has worked with other film festivals such as the DisOrient Asian American Film Festival in Eugene, OR and Portland Panorama. This is her third year with PFCAT and it’s changed in so many great ways since then! She’s excited to be back again as the Logistics Coordinator and continue making the festival an amazing experience for both filmmakers and audiences!

Aurelia Rohrbacker
Festival Venue Manager
Aurelia Rohrbacker is native Oregonian and film buff. After growing up in Portland she then traveled and lived all over including New York City, San Francisco and Christchurch, New Zealand. Since getting her degree in architecture and working on projects such as schools, fire stations and TriMet Max lines she now also works in the art departments for film and television as a set designer and art assistant.

Nathaniel Akin
Festival Trailer and Bumper Designer
Nathaniel Akin is the founder and director of OXEN.TV, a Portland-based animation studio known for crafting motion graphics and video content that bring ideas to life. He leads creative and technical workflows for commercial, branded, and independent projects—often blending design-driven storytelling with automation-savvy animation.

Rachel Bracker
VR Curator
Rachel is passionate about using immersive storytelling to educate and inspire. At her company Hungry Mantis, she collaborates with clients to create VR training videos, virtual tours, educational 360 documentaries, short films, and even dome experiences for planetariums. Her work has been praised for its ability to transport viewers into new environments, from the living room of the world’s oldest drag queen to the surface of Mars!

Perrin Willis
VR Manager
Perrin is the President and Owner of Worlds Beyond VR. The company was inspired by the dreamers in less fortunate situations that deserve the opportunity to actively engage in wondrous, awe-inspiring experiences that they may have not gotten the opportunity to experience otherwise.

Rachel Hadiashar
Photographer
Rachel has been photographing creative Oregonians for more than a decade, and often go on location to photograph organizations throughout the Portland metro area. Her client list includes notable artists, musicians, authors, and thought-leaders.
The current portrait series focuses on photographing and interviewing people about their Zone of Genius. “I am DEEPLY interested in the intersection of beauty, age, and power. Society tells us youth is to be valued; I witness a claiming of power with age. I reject late stage capitalism and false narratives.”

Elizabeth Keller
Volunteer Coordinator/Writing Intern
Elizabeth Keller is a rising junior at Columbia University studying linguistics and creative writing. Her writing and graphic narrative can be found/are forthcoming in Blackbird, Quarto, Solstice, and Movable Type. She loves stop motion animation, puppetry, and she’s super excited to be a part of PFCAT this year.

Jenine Dalusong
Festival Programming and Outreach Intern
Jenine Dalusong is a Portland-based artist and filmmaker who began by writing short stories and poetry at eight years old. As an emerging director and writer, she uses storytelling to navigate social issues to inspire public dialogue. “I fell in love with movies when I saw myself represented on screen for the first time.”

Chanelle French
